A lorry overturned and caused rush-hour chaos at a busy roundabout near Lewes today.
The accident happened on the A27 Southerham roundabout outside the town at 6.30am.
Traffic built up on the eastern carriageway while police and recovery vehicles attempted to remove the vehicle.
The articulated lorry, registered to a Portsmouth firm, was carrying scrap metal including crushed cars when it turned while manoeuvring round the roundabout.
The driver was shaken but unhurt.
