The latest news from the Seagulls has been published online at a web site dedicated to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The site launched on Saturday, the first day of this year's Nationwide League season, will keep fans up-to-date with the Division 2 team's progress through the 2001/02 season.

Pre-game and post-match reports from The Argus' Albion reporter, Andy Naylor, will be published alongside all the day's latest results.

The site features player profiles with assessments from assistant Manager Bob Booker.

Content producer Franka Philip said: "The site will be a must visit for Seagulls' fans. This year the Albion celebrates its centenary and the site includes a history of the club with reports of key people from the past."

The site includes unpublished photographs from the team's matches, taken by The Argus photographers.

Franka said: "We are trying to provide everything a Seagulls' follower would want and the photographs are something no one else can offer.

"We will build in extra features as the season gets underway."

Interactive elements will include a link for fans to have their say and vote for a player or goal of the month.
