I note councillor Ken Bodfish's enthusiasm for the new parking service.
I have also been conscious of the over-enthusiasm of some of the new attendants which has been reported by locals, taxi drivers and bus drivers.
While I welcome the new initiative, I would ask why there cannot be a similar initiative with regard to cyclists on the pavement despite dedicated lanes, cyclists with no bells or lights and cyclists, roller bladers and skateboarders on the promenade?
They are dangerous, inconsiderate, abusive and offensive to the elderly and families with babies in pushchairs.
Where are the officials to enforce the bylaws?
