A motorcyclist was killed when his bike left the road as he overtook a car.
He suffered multiple injuries in the accident at 12.40pm yesterday on the B2141 at West Dean, near Chichester.
The rider had taken a bend before trying to overtake the car but he lost control of his machine and veered off the road.
Today he was named as Leonard Marsh, who lived at Chessington, Surrey.
In a separate incident, a motorcyclist died after losing control of his bike and crashing into a traffic island after a collision with a car.
It happened on the A259 Flansham Lane, near Felpham, at 5.11pm on Saturday.
Police today named the dead man as Iain Blair, 30, of Camberley in Surrey.
