Ken Bodfish's intervention in the Falmer stadium debate show a heady mixture of ignorance and arrogance.
He sees fit to ignore the 40,000 people who voted in favour of Falmer.
The town planners have worked closely with the football club over the new Falmer stadium and are convinced it is workable and the only site viable but Coun Bodfish knows better.
His ignorance of the viability of Waterhall is breathtaking. The site has been reviewed and rejected but Coun Bodfish either doesn't know or doesn't care. He says a station can be built at Waterhall. Railway engineers disagree.
How utterly depressing the leader of Brighton and Hove City Council lacks the vision and confidence to wholeheartedly support the bid, in his council's Local Plan, for the Falmer stadium.
It is up to every Albion fan to take the arguments to Coun Bodfish and all his councillors that Falmer is the only viable site to build a stadium worthy of our club and our city.
