I am staggered by the comments of Ken Bodfish regarding the stadium at Falmer.

Surely his priority is to his electorate. Why hold a referendum if his aim is simply to ignore the results?

All over the country, city councils have recognised the importance of providing sporting facilities for the community.

Why must Brighton and Hove be so different? Councillor Bodfish should be aware his priority is to provide for the community.

Perhaps he lacks the conviction and leadership necessary to fulfil his post.
