More than 25,000 people are expected to watch the 28th Bognor Birdman competition this weekend.
Competitors in the bizarre event jump off the pier using home made contraptions, aiming to fly far enough to win £25,000.
Carnival Collective will be returning for a second year, adding a samba flavour to the proceedings. They will be joined by Bognor-based group Fun Drum.
There will also be an in-line skating competition.
The fun starts at 10am on Sunday and the birdman contest itself begins at 12.30pm.
