I read with dismay (Argus, July 10) the Penny Arcade is in danger of closing because of lack of funds.
It will be a great shame if these old penny machines are lost forever. They are part of the City of Brighton and Hove's heritage.
The younger generation will never get to know how the older generation spent their time while walking the piers.
Perhaps there could be a section in our Museum or even a corner on the West Pier devoted to bygone years, to save these penny machines.
