George Bain has been a volunteer at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for more than 25 years.
There is nothing unusual about that except that George, who arrives each week by motorbike, is 85.
He's older than most of the patients he is helping in the orthopaedic ward. But they'll miss him when he eventually decides to go.
