Blackstone Cricket Club is a real family affair.
This season two families are making up almost half the team on the field in the West Sussex League, while off the field, wives and mothers are helping make sure everything runs smoothly.
Last week the Sports Argus highlighted the father and son team, Kevin and James Woods, who play in the side.
But there are three family members represen-ting the White family out in the middle.
Twenty-nine-year-old skipper Craig White is in his second year in charge, after accepting an invitation to join the club four years ago from... Kevin Woods.
Craig's younger brother Matthew, 16, is also playing this season, while dad, Colin, 53, is keeping an eye on everybody.
Craig's the all-rounder, Matthew is a batsman while dad is an occassional bowler and comes in down the order when batting.
Back in the pavilion, Craig's mother Elaine does the teas while his wife, Lisa, helps out and is treasurer. The two families' involvement does not end there as 40-year-old Kevin Woods is chairman and Craig's secretary.
Craig said: "It's a family club and there is a nice atmosphere. We enjoy playing every week."
