A man has appeared in court charged with a series of robberies in Worthing.
Andrew Marc Curruthers, 22, of Chatham Road, Worthing, is accused of six robberies between last December and March.
He is accused of robberies at garages and shops including the Murco garage in Sompting Road, Worthing, on December 28; Thresher in Church Road, Tarring, on February 4; Spar in Heene Road, Worthing, on February 7; Pickwicks Newsagent in Brighton Road, Worthing, on February 9; Ladbrokes in Rowlands Road, Worthing, on March 14; and Tarring Village Stores in Church Road, Tarring, on March 28.
Carruthers was committed for trial and will appear before Chichester Crown Court on June 7.
