A 17-year old boy charged with the murder of a vicar whose severed body parts were found buried in a shallow grave in woodland has been remanded in custody for four days.

The teenager and another 17 year old boy, both from St Leonards, are also charged with concealing the vicar's body and preventing lawful and decent burial of the body.

Both are due to appear before Hastings Youth Court on Wednesday.

On Friday Police searched a second site for more body parts of the murdered clergyman.

Scenes of crime officers scoured hedgerows and reeds and conducted a fingertip search in a three-hour operation in the area.

Limbs from his dismembered body were discovered on Thursday in a holdall buried in a shallow grave on a small wooded island behind Summerfield Sports Centre in Hastings.

The body parts were buried just 500 yards from Hastings police station. Mr Glazebrook, of Dane Road, St Leonards was reported missing on April 30 by his daughter Christine, 45, when he failed to turn up for services at Christ Church, St Leonards.

He was last seen walking his dog Jonti the previous afternoon.

Blood found on his yacht Sulis, at Newhaven marina, and his Toyota Carina car, parked outside his flat, has since been confirmed as his.

The divorced priest, known by his initials RVG, helped out at Christ Church and was dedicated to teaching young people.
