Children in Brighton have a new skateboard park and were loaned a bucking bronco during the Easter break (Argus, April 24).

I spent my Easter with three children in Hove Park and, if I could not have afforded to pay for them to join in football in the community at £25 each, there was nothing extra for them.

How about Hove children for a change? It's even more expensive to swim in Hove than in Brighton and, of course, the better pool is in, yes, Brighton.

The splash pool and playpark on Hove seafront are "nice" but where do ten or 16-year-olds go to entertain themselves?

Having just paid my council tax bill of £1,011, I think it's about time someone looked at facilities for secondary school-age kids in Hove.
