An armed robber held up a Brighton hairdresser's and stole cash from the till.
The man, who was brandishing a knife, entered Toni and Guy in Nile Street yesterday and demanded cash.
Staff handed over the takings and the man ran off towards Duke Street at about 4.45pm.
The offender is described as between 5ft 8in and 5ft 11in tall, in his late 20s, with short dark hair and a gaunt appearance.
