Recalled Mark Hynes and Mark Hawthorne were key figures as Crawley got back to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Halesowen in the premier division.

The first half was easily forgettable, with few chances created but Danny Carroll fired over for Crawley while Clinton Thomas with a header and Neil Smith with a stinging drive, threatened Crawley's goal.

The breakthrough came out of the blue two minutes before half time as Hawthorne threw across a superb ball for Hynes to fire home from a tight angle.

Hawthorne doubled the lead on 49 minutes as Hynes returned the favour with a cross for the midfielder to volley a superb strike past Andrew Quy.

Halesowen threatened a revival briefly as Michael Crawford reduced the deficit with a fine shot on 56 minutes but Reds then wasted chances to restore the two-goal cushion.

Langney Sports completed an eastern division double over struggling Sittingbourne with a convincing 4-0 victory at Central Park.

Sports took the lead on 20 minutes when Ben Austin crossed from the right and Clinton More rose above the home defenders to power the ball back across the goal and into the far corner.

Langney increased their lead on 32 minutes when John Westcott fired home a low drive at the near post.

In the second half More increased Langney's advantage on 61 minutes when he worked his way into the Sittingbourne penalty area before firing in.

Andrew Ducille completed the tally in the 78th minute when he won the ball 30 yards out and ran unchallenged into the box before slotting past goalkeeper Taylor.
