Champions Crowborough completed their Sussex Open League season with a 3-1 win over fourth placed Lewes IV.

Goals from Darren Pullman, Mark Forster and Chris Ripley secured the points for Borough.

Southwick were awarded a 5-0 default win against Sussex University which confirmed they finished the campaign in third place.

In Division One, St Francis moved out of the bottom two after a 2-0 win over Lewes V.

Eastbourne IV defeated Chichester Chipmunks 4-2 in Division Two, while Worthing V overcame Mid Sussex III 2-0.

South Saxons, runners-up in the Sussex Open League, claimed a place in the final of the Sussex Plate after a 4-1 win over Newhaven, who will be back within the Sussex ranks next season.

Danny Burnett scored twice for Saxons with Jeremy Bunday and Pete Watters adding the other two.

Their opponents in the final on April 29 will be Middleton and Bognor, who defeated Eastbourne 3-1 in the other semi final.
