M Dyson's comments (Opinion, February 22) on St Nicholas' Church, Brighton, are the sort we get from people who visit a church three times in their lives (baptism, marriage and funeral).

I suggest he visits Brighthelm (City) Church. He will be able to admire the facilities within this building, which has comfortable individual seats, microphone and speakers, sound loop for the hard of hearing, toilets for the disabled and clearly marked emergency exits.

This is a church building for worship in the 21st Century, not a failing, crumbling relic.

It costs less than a visit to a football match.
