John Parry claims (January 18) that I am more famous for being Brendan Behan's brother than anything I have wrttten.
Comparisions are odious but here is another.
Damien Gaffney, editor of the Irish World, writes: "The truth is, Brian Behan is far funnier and much cleverer than his brother Brendan. Far too long has this truly great man hidden himself beneath his brother's cloak.
"There is still time for the real Brian Behan to emerge from the shadows and shine in all his resplendent glory."
And I never paid Gaffney a penny!
I invite John along to the Marlborough Theatre on Thursday March 15, when he will be confronted by a naked Brian Behan.
