While I appreciate the free plug for Ann Widdecombe's visit to Brighton, perhaps James Fisher would like to concentrate his fire on his own side, instead of making snide remarks at people who seek to promote Brighton and Hove to a wider audience.
When the shadow home secretary visits this city, she will want to know why violent crime has risen 8.6 per cent when across the country there has been an average fall in crime of 0.2 per cent.
Could it be because police numbers have fallen by more than 300 in Sussex since his Labour friends took power? People have paid the taxes. They want to know where are the extra police?
