When John Magee sold a van he owned two years ago he thought that would be the end of the matter.
But 77-year-old John, who lives in Woodingdean, keeps on getting threatened with court action over the non-payment of parking fines for it.
Police say it's not their responsibility to make sure the driving licence authority has details of the correct owner.
But it wouldn't take much work for someone at the police station to ring up the authorities and point out the position to them.
It's not fair that a pensioner should continually be pestered by police for problems which are nothing at all to do with him.
