Two goals in two extra time minutes from Clinton More gave Langney Sports an amazing 5-4 win against Ringmer in the Sussex Senior Cup.

Langney had a scare when, after leading 3-1, they were trailing 4-3 with eight minutes of extra time to go.

But a 35 yard lob and a low shot from 12 yards from More secured the win.

Langney had the perfect start when Daren Pearce scored from the penalty spot after five minutes and then John Westcott made it 2-0 on 20 minutes.

After James Morris pulled one back for Ringmer, Matt Crabb made it 3-1 and the home side were cruising.

But Kevin Anderson, and a screamer from Glen Davies took it to extra time.

More and Matt Allen could have given Langney another two-goal cushion, but they missed easy chances in the first period of extra time.

But as Langney got more and more frustrated, Ringmer got more confident and looked the most likely to score.

And when Matt Geard scored for Ringmer at the beginning of the second period of extra time, it looked over for Langney.

But More put on his super show to secure the win and put Langney through to the next round.

Lewes had their third round clash with County League Selsey abandoned at half time by the referee with the scores level at one apiece.

The plummeting temperature made the conditions increasingly dangerous and the referee halted the match.

Lewes had taken the lead in the 16th minute after an excellent weaving run by Richard Hudson ended with his low cross being tucked home at the far post by Marc Cable.

Selsey equalised on 24 minutes after hesitancy from home keeper Florian Ludewig allowed Steve Hill to reach the ball first and chip it into the net.

As the first half came to a close Lewes' Ryan Hackett was twice denied by good saves from David Leaver.

There was a lengthy inspection of the pitch at Gorings Mead before Horsham YMCA's game against visiting Broadbridge Heath but it got the go ahead.

A double from YMCA's James Bird put them on course for the fourth round with Lee Carney scoring for Heath.

Shoreham and Eastbourne United will have to meet again as they drew 1-1 despite playing extra time. Scott Carden put Shoreham ahead on 99 minutes but Lewis Fry levelled on 110 minutes for the visitors.
