Two exiled Russian princesses have turned their hands to healing after discovering magnetic bracelets and collars with amazing powers.

Princess Helena Lobaniv-Rostovsky, who has lived most of her life in Hove with her mother Princess Roxane, spotted the bracelets at a dog show 18 months ago.

She bought a bracelet for her mother in the hope it would give her more movement in her left arm, which had been kicked by a horse.

She later discovered that magnetic collars had sorted out back problems in two of the family's three dachshunds.

They have also helped Princess Helena overcome the whiplash she suffered after a car crash in April.

The princesses have since helped others and animals overcome a range of ailments with the bracelets and collars.

Their neighbour Shirley Oliver now wears a magnetic bracelet, while her golden labrador Ben wears a magnetic collar.

Ms Oliver said: "I had breast cancer almost ten years ago and recently I was beginning to feel lethargic just the way I did before I was ill. But since I started wearing the bracelet I have felt quite revitalised.

"I put the collar on Ben because his back legs had become really stiff. He is now 12 years old but since wearing the collar, he is running around like a young dog."

Princess Helena believes the magnetic bracelets and collars enhance overall health by providing the body with the same energy as the earth's magnetic field and balancing the body's pH levels.

Last week, one of the family's three dachshunds, Dagobert, was due to have an operation on his back.

But when Princess Helena found that the dog may need surgery she put a magnetic pad, designed for a horse's leg, on his back. As a result, the dog no longer needed the operation.

She said: "It was like a miracle but I can also imagine how it worked. After my car crash I was in pain but after a few days with the collar I felt wonderful again."
