Twenty police officers swooped on addresses as part of an on-going crime clampdown.
Drugs and clothes believed to be stolen were seized from five addresses in Bexhill after officers carried out simultaneous search warrants at 7am yesterday.
A man and a woman from separate addresses were arrested and were being quizzed last night.
Officers were acting on intelligence gathered as part of a major initiative to stamp out crime in the town.
Sergeant Dave Costigan said: "Inquiries are ongoing into the drugs and clothing.
"The operation is part of a proactive initiative on crime in Bexhill and will be ongoing into the New Year."
A similar operation was carried out three weeks ago where 14 people were arrested.
