A major recruitment drive is under way in Worthing after two firms announced they were creating 90 new jobs in the town.
Wilkinson is currently trying to fill 65 new posts at its store in the Guildbourne Centre, South Street, which is due to open in March.
And the Wetherspoons pub in Chapel Road is advertising for 25 new workers.
Wilkinson, part of a nationwide chain, needs customer services assistants and security guards for its home and garden chain store.
Store manager Gary Barnes said: "Whatever position people are interested in, we can promise that working for Wilkinson is great fun and offers some great benefits."
Anyone interested in working at the new store should contact Worthing Job Centre in High Street.
Wetherspoons was due to open last week but the building is still a shell and work is still under way.
Bosses say the pub will open on December 20 and are currently on the lookout for bar staff.
Worthing councillor Brian Lynn said: "I am delighted to hear news of new jobs being created in Worthing.
"Any new business that creates new jobs for the people of the town can only be good - especially new jobs in the Guildbourne Centre, which has fallen on hard times recently and is currently being regenerated and is really on the up again now."
