A father has been charged with wounding with intent after a man's ear was bitten off.
The incident happened during an under-15 football match when part of a spectator's ear was bitten off.
The 48-year-old, from Portslade, will appear before Worthing magistrates on Monday.
The incident on Sunday is alleged to have occurred while parents watched a game on the pitches of Middle Road, Shoreham, the home of Shoreham Football Club.
