The fiasco of the Millennium Dome goes on. Nobody wants to buy it!

The recent revelation that Tony Blair pushed the project through despite Cabinet objection poses the question: Would he have been so keen if the Lottery money would not pay for it?

When the Lottery was set up, we were assured the Government would be unable to influence the spending of Lottery funds.

The pouring of more and more money into the Dome black hole casts doubt upon that promise.

Where is the independence of the Lottery Commission now?
