A cyclist was seriously hurt in a collision with a van.
The 30-year-old man from Crawley was taken to the East Surrey Hospital at Redhill after the crash yesterday at Holmbush on the A264 between Horsham and Crawley.
He was believed to have had a fractured skull and internal injuries.
The driver of the Vauxhall van was unhurt but shocked by the accident.
Those involved have not been named by Sussex Police, who operate data protection guidelines.
