Under the arrogantly-assumed title of assistant director of city services, Gary Thurston lectures us on wasting of council taxpayers' money (Opinion, September 14). But surely the waste of money is the continuous stream of schemes to impede road traffic and parking? Perhaps he could tell us how much Brighton and Hove council has spent on these schemes and how much more is planned?
