It is a bit rich for Labour councillor Simon Battle to attack the Tories for our campaign against Labour's stealth tax on petrol and at the same time advocate the improvement in public transport to make the car less attractive.
Tell this to the people of Ovingdean, Patcham, Saltdean and Woodingdean, deprived of buses this winter following cuts in bus subsidies voted by his Labour colleagues.
