I agree with P.J. Benham (Opinion, August 15) about the Patcham roundabout. I have never seen such an ugly distraction on a busy, accident-prone roundabout. We already have the stone pylons at the beginning of the boundary to Brighton; "Welcome to Brighton and Hove" could have been placed there.
