A correspondent (Opinion, August 9) maintains the fiction Brighton and Hove are two towns and berates Adam Trimingham for referring to them as one.
Ask any stranger unfamiliar with the geography or politics of the area and he will accept the evidence of his eyes and say they are one.
To pretend otherwise is to stick your head in the sand.
