As a Fulham fan I am very disappointed that Paul Brooker chose to leave us and join Brighton.
However it was no surprise given the disgraceful lack of first team opportunities he has had at the Cottage.
The situation for young English players will deteriorate still further when our new manager, Jean Tigana, starts packing the squad with his French friends.
Few Fulham fans will complain if that gets us promoted but the prospect of a Brit-free Fulham side is not very appealing.
