David Lepper deserves all the support he can get in trying to stop "windbags" making a mockery out of the House of Commons. His campaign to change the procedure whereby a Private Member's Bill can be stopped in its tracks by one member uttering the word "Object" should also be supported. These and other reforms are needed to turn what is still a country gentlemen's club into a modern, democratically accountable legislature.
