Pupils at Downlands School in Hassocks delivered an anti-drugs message in dance.
The students took part in a rock challenge contest and their routine was choreographed by year 11 student Rachel Hamlin.
About 60 pupils from the school took part in the Be Your Best Foundation Rock Challenge in Eastbourne. Although it was the school's first try at the contest, they won awards for best choreography, student leadership and an award for best performer.
Their dance was called Colour the World. It aimed to illustrate the negative side of drugs and mixed modern and ballet styles with a soundtrack.
