DEEP sleeper Caroline Marklew woke with a start after having a dream about six lottery numbers emblazoned across a banner.

They were being pulled across the sky on the back of a plane and when Caroline woke, she grabbed a pen and paper and jotted the numbers down.

Ever since, she has played the lottery religiously every Saturday using the same numbers, 3, 10, 15, 17, 19, 27, but has only ever won a few tenners.

But the 41-year-old, who moved to Brighton two years ago, narrowly missed the jackpot during the double rollover on Wednesday.

She got five out of the six numbers and missed the all-important final number by just one, but still managed to win £682.

Nine lucky punters shared the £31 million jackpot for which about a million tickets were bought every 15 minutes across Britain.

Excitement

Caroline, who works as a senior designer for Dorling Kindersley in London, hardly ever enters the Wednesday draw, but decided to make an exception this time.

She forgot to watch the show on Wednesday night, but remembered to check whether she had won the following morning before leaving for work. Caroline, who lives in Stanley Street, Brighton, switched on Teletext and watched as the numbers came up.

She said: "I just reacted with complete disbelief."

She later learned she had scooped just £682 as part of the winnings and says she is planning to spend it on a holiday in Spain in May.

Caroline added: "People are just gobsmacked that I came

so close. I don't remember much about the dream except waking up, grabbing a pen and writing them down

"Now everyone wants me to dream them numbers too!"
