TWO Sussex DJs who announced their engagement on the radio after a whirlwind romance have tied the knot.

Southern FM's breakfast show presenter Nicky Keig-Shevlin and fellow DJ Richard Reynolds married at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Poynings.

Richard knew Nicky was the girl for him when he saw her face on an advert on the back of a bus last October.

After hitting the right notes with each other from the start, the couple soon started dating and Richard, 32, popped the question over a romantic meal in Paris on Valentine's Day.

When they announced their engagement, Richard, who only joined Southern FM late last year, said: "I think I fell in love with her when I saw her on the side of a bus, and when I heard her voice the next morning I just knew she was the one."

In the week leading up to their wedding, Nicky and Richard have been co-hosting the breakfast show while her regular co-host Danny Pike is on holiday.

Nicky and Richard, who live in Hove, are jetting off to Barbados for their honeymoon.
