A MAJOR Sussex business organisation has won the Government's blessing.

Business Link Sussex, the Burgess Hill-based business advice services subsidiary of Sussex Enterprise, has been awarded official accreditation to operate the county's business link for the next three years. The licence has been granted six months ahead of deadline. Executive director Richard Bianco said: "When Business Link Sussex first opened for business two years ago we knew we had to become accredited within three years to prove that our standards were up to the required level. "The assessment is becoming tougher each year and very few pass first time, so we are very proud of our achievement." He said that over the last two years the organisation had taken an average of 250 calls a week on queries ranging from the average wage in Sussex for injection moulding toolmakers to how to go about a management buy-out.
