I had just visited a cashpoint in Church Road when, as I walked away, a young man stepped in front of me, saying, "Excuse me, I am an unemployed student doing a survey. Would you like to pay me to do your shopping or cleaning?".
A firm "no" was the reply.
He walked off along Church Road to three lads.
