I visited my 82-year-old father recently and felt ashamed for those people who stole several solar-powered lights from his front garden in Wolseley Road, Coldean, sometime over last weekend.
He bought them to light up his front garden in the evenings, which is his pride and joy.
I hope whoever was responsible enjoyed smashing at least one in the street. Why did you take them? Why shouldn't he put things in his garden? Why do we always have to look out to make sure someone isn't stealing something?
