I read Brighton and Hove will be gridlock in five years (The Argus, July 6) and that there is also a likelihood of water rationing (The Argus, May 20).
As if this is not enough, Brighton and Hove is said to be one of the most polluted cities in the country (The Argus, June 21), we are running out of landfill sites and have a major problem with treating sewage.
So what does Brighton and Hove City Council propose? Huge blocks of flats around Hove Station, at the King Alfred and in the marina and a stadium at Black Rock with a capacity of 15,000.
Perhaps the council could let us know how these will solve our environmental problems and why it won't resolve infrastructure problems before considering these other developments.
