I have worked as a health care assistant at the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) for 11 years, where the care of patients, young or elderly, is not all poor.
It is upsetting and soul destroying to keep reading about supposedly lacking care all the time, especially when you know patients you and your colleagues are looking after are getting the best care they can get.
We make sure, when we are caring for a patient, we always ask the relatives, or whoever is visiting them, if are they all right.
The care my colleagues and I give is always good.
