If the names of Henry Prego, Alonzo Saunders and Nigel Casey are not exactly on the tip of your tongue, they should be. Because when they don their stage personas of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Junior and Dean Martin they will astonish you.

They bring splendidly alive the legendary entertainers, probably the greatest of the 20th Century, straight from the show room of the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, in a dramatised pastiche of a concert that could have taken place any time in the early Sixties.

Backed by a superb 15-piece swing band, under veteran music director Colin Campbell, and three sexy showgirls, this show gives you more than two hours of fun with a capital F.

While physically the resemblance to the originals is pretty good, it is vocally where all three score. Close your eyes and you'll certainly believe the originals have never died.

Prego makes a fine Sinatra, having almost the same spirit as Ol' Blue Eyes, bringing him alive in just a phrase. Right from the opening words of Luck Be A Lady Tonight, you know you're in for a treat.

When Saunders sings Mr Bojangles or does one of Sammy Davis' manic dances, hairs rise on the back of your neck.

And Casey makes a perfect Dean Martin, not just with his singing but even more so when he does his drunk routine.

This is not a show for the politically correct. Most times the trio have a cigarette in one hand and a glass of bourbon in the other, and there are jokes about adultery, mothers-in-law, gangsters and much else you won't hear on today's circuit.

But for a wallow in a great cabaret act from the past, this is a show which cannot be beaten.
