Eastbourne Eagles boss Jon Cook admits he is delighted with a double-signing for his skybet Elite League highflyers.
Cook has brought in Oliver Allen from Premier League outfit Kings Lynn tlo ride at No.6 in most of Eagles' remaining fixtures.
He has also added young Aussie hotshot Troy Batchelor as cover at reserve when Allen is not available.
Allen, who makes his debut at home to Belle Vue on Saturday, has been riding for Swindon in the top flight this season.
Swindon now have the servoices of Eagles back-up man Ulrich Ostergaard as part of the deal.
Cook said: "Oliver is very experienced and Troy is a great prospect so we are delighted."
