The annual Arundel Festival is back with a ten-day extravaganza of concerts, street theatre, art gallery trails, open-air theatre and more.

Arundel Castle is the second largest in the country and provides a stunning backdrop to many of the festival's events.

This year, the theme is love, celebrating "all that the human heart can offer, in its complexity, joy and passion."

Here are our music highlights:

Diana Galvydyte, Champs Hill, Saturday, August 27
Young Lithuanian virtuoso violinist Galvydyte makes her festival debut in a programme featuring Bach and Brahms.

Starts 12pm. Tickets cost £20.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and fireworks display, Arundel Castle, Friday, August 26
Featuring acclaimed young baritone Robert Meadmore, the orchestra is set to play an impressive selection of classics, specifically suited for an open-air setting. The concert will be brought to a spectacular conclusion with fireworks dramatically lighting up the castle battlements.

Gwyneth Herbert, Arundel Castle, Saturday, August 27
Fresh from sell-out concerts at the Queen Elisabeth Hall and a headline slot at the London Jazz Festival, jazz-singing sensation Gwyneth Herbert comes to the festival supported by her own band, as well as by the BBC Big Band.

Katie Melua, Fontwell Park Race Course, Sunday, August 28
A Radio 2 favourite and rising star Katie Melua is joined by her seven-piece band, performing jazz-flavoured pop songs from her platinum-selling debut album, Call Off The Search.

Expressions Of Passion, Around town centre,Thursday, August 25
This promises a multicultural evening of world music and street theatre from diverse and creative performers around the town.

Starts 5pm. Free.

G4 and Voices With Soul, Fontwell Park Race Course, Monday, August 29
The X Factor's success story, boy band G4, scored a hit with a cover of Radiohead's Creep early this year and sold 300,000 copies of their debut album in just one week. With singer Jonathan Ansell from Bognor, G4 return to their home turf, supported by Voices With Soul for a double concert.

Starts 2pm. Tickets cost £25 (under 18s, £15).

The Bootleg Beatles, Fontwell Park Race Course, Monday, August 29
Described as "flawless" by Mojo magazine, legendary tribute act, The Bootleg Beatles, perform hits from the (real) Fab Four's repertoire, from Love Me Do to Let It Be.
