I was appalled by the lack of judgement shown by councillor Dawn Barnett in trying to make political capital out of the accident at Hove tip (The Argus, August 17).

The one person who appears to have been most negligent in all this is Barnett herself.

If she really thought there was a danger, then why didn't she go further and make sure something was done at the time instead of just complaining?

I guess, like most other politicians, she is all talk and no action.
