Brighton and Hove Albion fans will pay tribute to a team legend with a minute's silence.

Glen Wilson, who died from a heart attack aged 76 last week, will be honoured at Withdean stadium on Sunday.

Mr Wilson captained the club to their first ever promotion, in 1958, and served the Seagulls for 30 years as a player, kit man and caretaker manager.

He will be remembered before kick-off at the game against Crystal Palace.

Mr Wilson's funeral took place yesterday morning at the Downs Crematorium and was attended by Albion chairman Dick Knight and other staff.
