I am writing in support of the new development on the King Alfred site.
Hove deserves a superb set of buildings and that's what I hope we get from Frank Ghery.
It would be a great shame if protests from people who don't want change forced the architects, the builders or Brighton and Hove City Council to water down their plans to the point of mediocrity.
I hope groups such as Hove Up are successful in their bid to promote the buildings and help make sure what is delivered is an exciting, vibrant and stunning addition to Hove seafront.
