Brighton and Hove City Council's decision to reject the over-development of Brighton Marina is welcomed by all the residents on or near the site.
The waste in cost and time has been enormous.
Opposing the scheme fell to a handful of people who worked relentlessly for months against it.
I would particularly like to thank Derek Granger, Derek De Young and David Morris of the Kemp Town Society, whose efforts have been tireless.
