I understand Brighton and Hove City Council is planning to spend about £1 million on making New Road, in Brighton, look pretty.
At the same time, it is withdrawing funding for St Patrick's night shelter.
Perhaps it might consider adding a few extra benches along the street for homeless people to sleep on.
