For the sake of charity, I assume Jenifer Morgan was being ironic in her letter, which was entitled "Stop this apartheid on drivers" (November 12).
In it, she compared prohibitions against cars using bridleways and footpaths to discrimination against black and gay people and women.
If black and gay people and women weighed up to four tons and tore up the land then perhaps they would also be banned from these often fragile tracks.
